Solution: How you designate yourself depends on your art-making process and the work samples you are planning to submit. Will most be examples of your solo projects? Or, will you be including images of collaborative work? If it’s the latter, and you would seek to approach the project you are applying for with contributors, you should probably apply as a team. (You will need to include resumes for all team members as one document). If not, it is perfectly acceptable to apply as an individual and let the panel know about your collaborative process in your statement of interest and work sample annotations.
