This form is for anyone interested in getting involved with 4Culture as a grant or artist selection panelist, on-site reviewer, advisory committee member, task force member, or board member. We’re delighted that you’re interested in helping us fulfill our mission: with a focus on racial equity, we fund, support, and advocate for culture to enhance the quality of life in King County.

Submitting this form will add you to our roster of potential panelists and contributors which our staff consults when opportunities arise. As 4Culture seeks input from a variety of disciplines, geographic areas, and cultural groups, we balance multiple factors for each opportunity. We will contact you with information about relevant opportunities. 

Please answer the following questions:

• Arts 4Culture  funds individual artists, artist groups, and arts organizations that provide access to art experiences for all King County residents and visitors.
• Heritage 4Culture helps communities recognize, preserve, and explore our shared heritage especially as our region grows and changes.
• Preservation 4Culture supports the preservation of the historic places that give King County its character.
• Public Art 4Culture commissions artwork and art experiences throughout King County, stewards the King County Public Art Collection, and offers expertise to public and private developers via consulting services.
• Science 4Culture supports King County science and technology organizations fostering curiosity about the processes that shape our world and how science benefits our lives.

• Artist Selection - Serve on a selection panel for various programs and opportunities, including Gallery 4Culture, Arc Artist Fellowship, Storefront Media Gallery video display, Touring Arts Roster, or public art commissions and acquisitions.
• Capacity Building - Funding and other opportunities of support for cultural and science organizations and groups to improve their capacity in project development, management, and operation. Programs include Building for Equity Project Development and Capacity Building.
• Capital Funding - Funding for arts, science, and heritage facilities, historic structures and buildings, and equipment; aimed to create a pathway for racial equity in the cultural landscape. Programs include Building for Equity, Landmarks Capital, and Cultural Equipment.
• Cultural Education - Arts, heritage, and science education; cultural access for K-12 public schools.
• Operating Support - Funding to support operation of cultural organizations. Programs include Sustained Support in Arts, Heritage, Preservation, and Science. 
• Projects - Funding to support projects by individual artists, art groups and organizations, heritage organizations, independent historians, preservationists, and/or stewards of historic places. Programs include Art Projects, Heritage Projects, Preservation Special Projects.
• Other - If you are interested in topics that are not listed above, please let us know. 

• Panel - Being on a grant application review or public art selection panel. This is a paid opportunity. 
• On-Site Reviewer - Help evaluate funding recipients by attending performances and other public events and writing reviews. This is a paid opportunity.
• Advisory Committee - Support 4Culture's program areas by grappling with discipline specific program planning, conflicts, and decision making.
• 4Culture Board Appointment - Advise and ensure good governance of 4Culture and guide the organization's future.
• Task Force - One-time, limited duration committees with a specific focus, such as policy reviews.
